Summer 2008
Dear Friends,
We send you greetings in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ. For the
past two months, we have been traveling around, like the Apostle Paul,
seeking to strengthen and encourage the people of God and bringing the
message of salvation to those who don’t know Him. So far we’ve traveled
about 5,500 miles! Praise God for His traveling mercies.
This trip started with us spending Resurrection Sunday in Reno where we
could be an encouragement to the people of God and we could also
receive encouragement from them. It is the resurrection of Jesus Christ
that separates us from all other religions. Our God is alive! That
makes me shout for joy no matter what is happening around me!
I always ask the Lord to give us action out on the road and He does. We
arrived in Quartzsite, Arizona, for a preaching engagement. That
evening in the RV park, a motor home parked next to ours. Later when I
went for a walk, the people were outside, so I went over to visit. I
learned that the woman has cancer with only a few months to live. They
knew and I knew that God had placed us side by side for prayer,
encouragement, and strengthening. They left bright and early the next
morning with joy in their hearts. God had directed our path!
Our journey continued through New Mexico, Texas, Louisiana,
Mississippi, Alabama, Florida, Georgia, Tennessee, Oklahoma, Missouri,
Kansas, Nebraska, and now Wyoming! We experienced every kind of weather
but no destruction came our way. We were behind the tornadoes or in
front of them and only God can do that!
Remember there is power in prayer, but WE have to do the praying!
We stepped into another level of faith this year as we watched the
price of diesel climb as high as $4.39 a gallon. As you know we get 6
mpg so trusting God and watching Him provide brought us great joy. We
sure did pray at each truck stop for the truckers, and for more chapels
at the truck stops for truckers.
I can’t give you every detail of the last two months but I can say that
everywhere the Lord has sent us, the Holy Spirit has brought Hope and
Healing!
Thank you for being a part of this great Harvest by your support and prayers! We pray a harvest blessing to come to you today!

Here, in January 2008, I’m cooling off from the air conditioner that GNM gave to Happyland.
Do you need healing and hope? Or do you know
someone who needs healing and hope?
The only place to find this for you or for others is through a personal relationship with Jesus Christ. Jesus says to us,
“I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me.” John 14:6
“Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest.” Matthew 11:28
