Friend

Dear Judy,

Wow, are the times hard! Everything has gone upside down. The city I live in is getting very liberal and dangerous! I love the Lord and would you give me a Scripture to rely on? Please help.

Dear Friend,

I want to encourage you to keep going forward with the Lord. All of His promises are sure and true. It might not look or feel like He is with us or working on our behalf, but He is! Yes, a lot of cities and whole states are moving toward the liberal side which will only cause greater moral decay and violence, but then those are the ways of the world. When we take trusting in God and praying out of the picture, nothing else can arise! That is the job of our enemy, the devil, who comes for no other reason than to destroy. The thief does not come except to steal, and to kill, and to destroy. I (Jesus) have come that they may have life, and that they may have it more abundantly. (John 10:10) Notice it says Jesus comes to bring life! Not just life but MORE abundantly! So much life we can give it to others!

In the Scriptures we read about David and all he went through, yet he praised the Lord and sang Him praises. He knew his help comes only from God. Let’s look at one of the Psalms he wrote and learn from it. Psalm 103:1-2 Bless the LORD, O my soul; and all that is within me, bless His holy name! Bless the LORD, O my soul, and forget not all His benefits. Bless is an act of adoration and Benefit is to treat a person well.

I know if you mediate on these truths from the Bible (our only manual for success), you will be able to stand up with your faith and hope in the Lord Jesus Christ and Him alone, knowing He has you covered no matter what might come your way! Sing to the Lord and thank Him for all His benefits.

So many horrible things are happening in our world today—children and adults gunned down in the middle of prayer, lives being destroyed by wars, famines, floods, fires, absolute madness– and if we allow ourselves to focus totally on these things, fear can totally take over and then we will become victims instead of a v

We are eternal beings, and we shall live for eternity somewhere! If we think we are saved, we are not! We must KNOW without a shadow of a doubt that we are born from above and have both an earthly address and a heavenly address. This is done by accepting Jesus as our Savior and living for HIM!

I see so many believers focusing on world events and the despair in our world. That may well be a focus for the unbeliever but certainly not for a believer! If we read our manual for success (Bible) and obey what it is teaching us, then we will have all our focus on Jesus and the cross! Jesus did everything for us on t

The Lord speaks to us through His manual for success (Bible). But are we listening? We are living in very evil times, but we can also see revival among people if we watch Christian News. When people get saved in great numbers, we need to pray for them to truly get connected. A merely emotional experience is not becoming born again. Conversion is believing that the Lord Jesus Christ went to the cross, died, and rose again, and we ask Him to forgive our sin.
