Keep your focus
Keep your Focus Correct!
I want us to think about where our focus is. This is very important in these last of the last days! Do we have one foot in the world and the other in the Kingdom of God? If so, we are in BIG trouble because we are not surrendering all we are to Jesus Christ.

We live in serious times. People we know all around us are dying either physically or spiritually. The greater death is spiritual! We must help people understand that! Every human being is going to Heaven or Hell! No in-between! It is our job as followers of Christ to tell them that. Our Lord will hold us accountable for what we are doing with what He has given us to do.
2 Timothy 3:1-5 is written to believers, NOT to unbelievers! The Holy Spirit wants us to read this passage carefully and understand that He is warning us concerning what is inching into the body of Christ.
But know this, that in the last days (WE ARE HERE) perilous times (dangerous, harsh, society lacking morals) will come (not maybe): For men will be lovers of themselves (selfishness is everywhere), lovers of money, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy, unloving, unforgiving (remember, if we do not forgive, we WILL NOT BE FORGIVEN—see Matthew 6:15), slanderers, without self-control, brutal, despisers of good, traitors, headstrong, haughty, lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God, having a form of godliness but denying its power (miraculous ability). And from such people turn away!
It says turn away, not join them! Remember, who we run with is who we will become. Run with negative and we will become negative; run with doubters and we will start to doubt; run with people who don’t believe or want the miraculous power to flow, soon we too will become dull. Let’s choose our friends wisely!
These are serious verses and there is no time to flirt with anything in these verses. We are fooling ourselves if we read and then do whatever we feel like doing or reason out why we can! We are to stay focused on the purposes and plans of our Heavenly Father. I love to look through binoculars, but if I don’t focus them correctly, what I am looking at is distorted. That is the same spiritually. Let’s stay in our manual for success (the Bible) for our focus, and pray and obey.
These are the last days. The “catching-away” (rapture ) is coming, whether anyone believes it or not. His children will not go through His wrath!
