To be born again, we must do as Romans 10:9 says: “that if you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved.” We do this confession; then we keep confessing what Jesus has done for us and we speak His truth!

Our words have great power! Life or death! It is our choice! Death and life are in the power of the tongue, and those who love it will eat its fruit. (Proverbs 18:21) A lot of what comes into our life comes from our mouth, not from the devil! Speak death words and you will experience death words; speak life words and you will experience life words. No one can do that for us; only we can do it for ourselves. So, as the saying goes, watch your mouth or put a muzzle on it! We need to heed this bit of wisdom. When the Bible says to do something, there is a consequence when we do not do it.

We have the Holy Spirit living in us. That is so wonderful and amazing. He is the third person of the Godhead! He is God! One of the greatest scriptures in our manual for success (the Bible) is Romans 8:11: “But if the Spirit of Him who raised Jesus from the dead dwells in you, He who raised Christ from the dead will also give life to your mortal bodies through His Spirit who dwells in you.” NOTICE that little word “if”–only if we are born again or born from above does God’s Holy Spirit live in us. HE will give life to our mortal body, or as I like to call it to our EARTH SUIT!

Jesus did all the forgiveness of sin and healing on the cross; then He said, “IT IS FINISHED!” He rose from the dead by the power of the Holy Spirit! NOW that same Holy Spirit, with healing power, lives in us giving us forgiveness of sin when we ask and life or healing to our mortal bodies! Let us keep confessing that truth and rise to become all that God has for us each day!
