Perilous Times Will Come by Dr. Judy Baus

We need to be very aware we are living in the last of the last days. All around us we see so much evil. Our manual for success (Bible) is very clear about these days in which we are living. But know this, that in the last days perilous times will come. 2 Timothy 3:1 Perilous times means dangerous and morally corrupt. It’s very clear we live in that time now. It breaks my heart and should break all our hearts to see what our country has become.

We must get rid of the thinking that holds onto unforgiveness, offenses, what ifs, should have, and on and on. We must let it go as the Apostle Paul said: Brethren, I do not count myself to have apprehended; but one thing I do, forgetting those things which are behind and reaching forward to those things which are ahead. Philippians 3:13 We cannot reach forward while still hanging on to things behind us. This is a new year, and we can have a new start but not if hanging onto yesterday’s baggage! I press toward the goal for the prize of the upward call of God in Christ Jesus. Philippians 3:14

Our Lord has so much for us to do but we must choose to let go and let God! We have a choice to allow our flesh which is carnal to win or to let our spirit to win! The Apostle Paul is very clear on this subject. For those who live according to the flesh set their minds on the things of the flesh, but those who live according to the Spirit, the things of the Spirit. For to be carnally minded is death, but to be spiritually minded is life and peace. Romans 8:5,6 Carnal means fleshly or meaty or how about meat head! We are in a battle which is won by the Word of God, but if we are not spiritually minded, we will lose! We can never win carnally!

The Holy Spirit gives us tools to use which are spiritual and not earthly or fleshly! We want to go forward this year in the fullness of our Lord which means we are victorious no matter what is going on in this nation or around us, but it must be done according to the obedience of Christ which is remembering he died on the cross and rose again for ALL WHO WILL CHOOSE AND BELIEVE IN HIM.

Let us walk in forgiveness and not allow ourselves to be an offense or take on offenses. Let us seek our Lord before all things. To have success in getting close and remaining close to our Lord, we MUST keep this scripture before our eyes: For if you forgive men their trespasses, your heavenly Father will also forgive you. But if you do not forgive men their trespasses, neither will your Father forgive your trespasses. Matthew 6:14-15

Isaiah 5:20 (NKJV)

Woe to those who call evil good, and good evil; Who put darkness for light, and light for darkness; Who put bitter for sweet, and sweet for bitter!

2 Peter 3:3 (NKJV)

knowing this first: that scoffers will come in the last days, walking according to their own lusts....

We are living in a time when we MUST get our mindset on spiritual things and not things of the flesh or our emotions. Very important! We also need to get rid of offenses, hate, and unforgiveness! If we have our mind set on the spiritual, we will live with the understanding that

We are living in very serious times! It is important that we take an account of our heart. Let’s allow the Holy Spirit to search our heart and expose any hidden place of unforgiveness or offense. If we hang onto those and do not repent, we are the only one chained and we leave a door cracked

These times in which we live, we must be very careful and watchful because they are perilous times. The Apostle Paul teaches us this with amazing clarity in 2 Timothy 3:1-5: But know this, that in the last days perilous times will come: For men will be lovers of themselves, lovers of money, boasters, proud
